International Nephrology Conference in BUCHAREST, Romania 17 & 18 Nov 2017
In the 1st conference of this type in Romania, the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA) and Southeastern Europe Pediatric Nephrology Working Group (SEPNWG), have jointly organized an international teaching course in Bucharest from 17-18 November 2017. Officially endorsed by ISN, there are an estimated 170 participants expected to attend the 28 lectures and moderated poster session at this event: Personalized Genomics in Pediatric Nephrology: from the Lab Bench to the Bedside.
Pediatricians will join adult and pediatric nephrologists for a wide variety of presentations on complement genetics, thrombotic microangiopathies, nephrotic syndrome, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, CRISPR Cas9 in Lupus, transplant immunology, and more. Speakers include clinicians, academics, and key leaders not only from Eastern Europe but also other nations to include Greece, Belgium, Italy, Australia and China with CME credits available to those who attend these free lecture sessions. Patient experiences are included as well at #IPNABucharest, with aHUS Romania sharing insights and a long-term dialysis patient presenting a brief session, which will provide a meaningful context to frame the clinical presentations.
